Dial-up Account
Congratulations on choosing MartNet
as your Dial-up access provider! This sign-up procedure will take
only a few minutes, and you will be notified via E-mail when your
account is set up. To avoid problems down the road, please be
sure to follow all instructions and read everything during this
sign-up process.
You may also call our sales office
at 1-877-850-2331 during normal business hours with any
questions you may have, or to sign up for your new account.
Please note that your account
application is verified and set up by a real live human, and will
be performed during our normal business hours, which are 10AM
to 6PM, Monday through Friday. You will be notified via e-mail
as soon as the account is set up, and a printed receipt will be
sent out via US mail that same day. If you don't hear from us,
there is probably a very good reason why, and you should call
our Sales office at 1-877-850-2331 during normal business
so we can straighten things out. During normal business hours,
new accounts are usually set up immediately.

Note about Billing for your new account...
Note that we will charge your credit card for your Dial-up
access. The charge is $14.95 per month. If you order your new
service after the 10th of the month up untill the last day of the
month, you will be charged only $9.00 for a partial months' use.
We do charge your card for service on the 25th of the month BEFORE
the service term starts, and in some cases, you may see charges
for 2 months (or a full month and a partial month) on your receipt.
After the first month's invoice is settled, your card will be
charged on the 25th of each month. If your card is ever declined,
expired, etc., we will notify you via E-mail (so PLEASE be sure
to check your MartNet E-mail regularly!) and you will have until
the 1st of the month to resolve the issue. You will be sent a
detailed invoice once your account has been activated, but we
thought you should know beforehand...
If you would like to purchase
Dial-up Internet Access for 6 months or 1 year, at our Discounted
pre-paid rate, please call our Sales Department at 1-877-850-2331,
OR sign up for a Monthly account now. Try out the account
for 2 weeks, make sure it meets your needs and expectations, and
then send e-mail
to support@martnet.com or contact us by telephone at
1-877-850-2331 and we'll switch you to the prepaid plan, and apply any
monthly charges as credit toward the cost of the prepaid plan
of your choice. Please note that we can accept check, money orders,
or international money orders drawn in US dollars ONLY for all
pre-paid accounts.
There
are 3 steps to getting a new Dial-up account:
- Step 1
is to read the MartNet Terms of
Account Use. These terms explain all of our policies,
including a few that are designed to protect you and your rights
on-line (ie: our privacy policy). Our lawyers say we need these
documents, and you have to agree to them to use our services.
So PLEASE do read through them, because by using our services,
you are legally bound by them...
- Step 2,
you tell us your billing information, credit card number, and
name and password you would like. You will need a Web Browser with SSL support
(so that it can encrypt the data for your protection.) All the major browsers
do this by default, so you should be fine...
- Step 3,
you need to set your computer up to connect to MartNet. Don't
worry, we have all the info you need to do this on-line, and
you can also call our toll free tech support gurus and have them
talk you through the process. If you're using Windows, it takes
5 minutes (if you're using a Mac it's even quicker, and if you're
using Linux or another OS, setup time can vary widely...)
